求你照你的话使我坚立（诗119：28）。 求你记念向你仆人所应许的话，叫我有盼望（诗119：49）。耶和华啊，我受欺压，求你为我作保（赛38：14）。 天地要废去，我的话却不能废去（路21：33）。你们是一心一意地知道，耶和华你们 神所应许赐福与你们的话没有一句落空，都应验在你们身上了（书23：14）。不要惧怕，愿你平安，你总要坚强！他一向我说话，我便觉得有力量，说：我主请说，因你使我有力量（但10：19）。你当刚强！你们都当刚强作工，因为我与你们同在。这是万军之耶和华说的（该2：4）。不是依靠势力，不是依靠才能，乃是依靠我的灵方能成事（亚4：6）。你们要靠着主，依赖他的大能大力，作刚强的人（弗6：10）。 Strengthen thou me according unto thy word。 Remember the word unto thy servant； upon which thou has caused me to hope。 — O LORD； I am oppressed； undertake for me。

挪亚是个义人（创6：9）。
义人必因信得生（加3：11）。挪亚为耶和华筑了一座坛，拿各类洁净的牲畜、飞乌，献在坛上为燔祭。耶

你要儆醒，坚固那剩下将要衰微的（启3：2）。 万物的结局近了，所以你们要谨慎自守，儆醒祷告（彼前4：7）。务要谨守、儆醒、因为你们的仇敌魔鬼，如同吼叫的狮子，遍地游行，寻找可吞吃的人（彼前5：8）。 你只要谨慎，殷勤保守你的心灵，免得忘记你亲眼所看见的事，又免得你一生这事离开你的心（申4：9）。义人必因信得生，他若退后，我心里就不喜欢他。我们却不是退后入沉沦的那等人，乃是有信心以致灵魂得救的人（来10：38，39）。 我对你们所说的话，也是对众人说：要儆醒（可13：37）！你不要害怕，因为我与你同在；不要惊惶，因为我是你的 神。我必坚固你，我必帮助你，我必用我公义的右手扶持你。我耶和华你的 神必搀扶你的右手（赛41：10，13）。
Be watchful； and strengthen the things which remain； that are ready to die。

难道他的慈爱永远穷尽吗（诗77：7） 他的慈爱永远长存（诗136：23）。耶和华不轻易发怒，并有丰盛的慈爱（民14：18）。有何 神象你，赦免罪孽，……不永远怀怒，喜爱施恩？必再怜悯我们，将我们的罪孽踏在脚下，又将我们的一切罪投于深海（弥7：18，19）。他便救了我们，并不是因我们自己所行的义，乃是照他的怜悯（多3：5）。 愿颂赞归于我们的主耶稣基督的父 神，就是发慈悲的父，赐各样安慰的 神。我们在一切患难中，他就安慰我们，叫我们能用 神所赐的安慰去安慰那遭各样患难的人（林后l：3，4）。 为要在 神的事上成为慈悲忠信的大祭司，为百姓的罪，献上挽回祭。他自己既然被试探而受苦，就能搭救被试探的人（来2：17，18）。 Is his mercy clean gone for ever？ His mercy endureth for ever。 — The LORD is longsuffering； and of great mercy。 — Who is a God like unto thee； that pardoneth iniquity？ 。。。 he re…aineth not his anger for ever； because he delighteth in mercy。 He will turn again； he will have passion upon us； he will subdue our iniquities； and thou wilt cast all their sin into the depths of the sea。 — Not by works of righteousness which we have done； but according to his mercy he saved us。 Blessed be God； even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ； the Father of mercies； and the God of all fort； who forteth us in all our tribulation；
